Last night my Tanner said he wanted to
eat breakfast in his room.
I told him that it sounded like a super fun idea and I would bring him breakfast in bed.
Upon his great excitement, he set up the little table and chair by his bed in anticipation of his great breakfast feast. His excitement could not be contained yet again when he got out of bed 3 different times to remind me to: 1, bring him a drink with breafast; 2, not to forget the siverware with a knife; 3, and last but not least, he wanted me to have a reminder note so I would not forget. He put the note by my bed.
So here is the wonderful breakfast in bed that he almost lost sleep over.
What a cute boy.
Now, I need to get him off the idea of having breakfast in bed everyday :).

This really is sweet. Lucky boy! We don't get service like that here at the Hotel Dixon. We're more like a youth hostel...fend for yourself, share a bathroom with way to many people, and don't expect the food to be above marginal1 Not at all like the Hotel Young...your place is FANCY!
such a cute boy! Super fun. My kids would be jealous. They are trained to get their own breakfast, be quite, and don't wake me up. Nothing hot and fancy around here.
Although I am trying to be a fun mom. On second thought, not that fun.
Tanner is such a sweet little boy. I love his idea of breakfast in bed...how fun!
Hey Susan! I just happen to find your blog and thought I would say "Hello!" Your children are sooooo cute! I hope things are going well for you. I still remember the fun times we had working in the primary together in Milwaukee!

What a darling idea! i'm so happy to have found your blog, I've always wondered how you were since Milwaukee days. The kids have grown up and are darling! Love, Kristen Paulsen
What service! What a lucky boy to recieve such a wonderful breakfast. usually my kids just get cold cereal, how boring. I bet Tanner thought you were the best mommy in the world. Now if he would only return the favor!
You're such a nice mom. My kids don't get such service. p.s. - we need to talk about Hawaii, I'm way excited for your trip!
